U.S. Representative John Boozman (R-AR) today issued the following statement on the death of Arkansas Democratic Chairman Bill Gwatney.

“I am saddened by this tragedy. I had great respect for Bill Gwatney and the work he did for Arkansas. My brother had the pleasure of serving in the Arkansas legislature with Bill and always spoke highly of him. This is a great loss not only for friends and family, but also for the people of Arkansas. My thoughts and prayers are with the Gwatney family during this difficult time.”
