U.S. Senators Blanche Lincoln and Mark Pryor, along with U.S. Representative John Boozman (AR-03) today announced $14,000 in funds to improve safety and security services in Diamond City. The money will be used to buy two new law enforcement vehicles.
“As first responders, local law enforcement units play an integral role in keeping our communities safe,” Lincoln said. “These federal dollars will allow Diamond City to continue to provide the best possible service for residents.”
“Diamond City law enforcement officers need and deserve the very best resources available,” said Pryor. “This is an excellent example of how federal funds can be reinvested into our local communities in order to keep all residents safe.”
“It’s great to see city officials being proactive about improving the safety of its citizens,” Boozman said. “These funds are a great asset that will benefit residents for years to come.”
