Boozman Announces Art Contest Winners

U.S. Representative John Boozman announced the winners of the Artistic Discovery High School Art Contest.
The annual congressional art competition brings together the best student artwork from across the country. The winning entry will be hung along with entries from other congressional districts in a corridor of the U.S. Capitol. The winner will be eligible to compete for a $5,000 scholarship per year to the Savannah College of Art and Design.
First Place – Ethan Robinson
Senior at Siloam Springs High School with a pen and ink/mixed media drawing titled “Mug Shot”
Second Place – Danny Looney
Junior Har-Ber High School with a pen and ink drawing titled “Oh Brother”
Third Place – Sarah Jordan
Senior Siloam Springs High School with an acrylic painting titled “Intrinsic Good”
Robinson is invited to attend the opening exhibit in Washington, D.C. on June 25, 2008 with other winners from across the country.
AT&T Arkansas and Southwest Airlines are sponsors of this contest providing spending money and round trip airfare for Robinson and his parents to attend the opening of the exhibit.
