Washington, Mar 6, 2008 - Congressman John Boozman will serve as the honorary co-host of a seminar in Harrison that will provide information on selling goods and services to federal and state governments. The Arkansas Procurement Seminar is hosted by the Harrison Regional Chamber of Commerce and the Arkansas Procurement Assistance Center (APAC), an economic development program operated by the University of Arkansas Cooperative Extension Service, with federal financial support. Congressman Boozman will speak briefly at the event.

APAC provides a variety of services, including free counseling and consulting to Arkansas businesses on any issue related to selling goods or services to public agencies.

The Arkansas Procurement Seminar will be held Friday, March 21 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the John Paul Hammerschmidt Business and Conference Center on North Arkansas College's South Campus in Harrison.
