U.S. Representative John Boozman (R-AR) today received the Guardian of Small Business Award from the National Federation of Independent Business, the nation’s leading small business association.

“Small businesses are the building blocks of a free market economy,” Boozman said. “As a former small business owner I understand the needs of the industry and I will continue to be a champion for it.”

“The record shows that Rep. Boozman is a true champion of small business, having stood strong on the key small business votes in the 110^th Congress,” NFIB President and CEO Todd Stottlemyer said. “This award reflects our members’ appreciation for supporting the NFIB pro-growth agenda for small business.”

The NFIB selected Boozman as a recipient of the award because of his favorable voting record on behalf of America’s small business owners in the 110^th Congress.
